Congratulations to Suhmer Henriques , OH/MB, on her commitment to continue her academic and volleyball career at Coppin State Volleyball at the NCAA Division I level!

Suhmer competed with our 17U Black team this past season, and we couldn’t be more proud of all she has accomplished. Her hard work, dedication, versatility, and passion for the game have led her to this incredible opportunity.

The entire Peak Volleyball Club family is proud to celebrate this achievement with you, Suhmer! We can’t wait to see all you accomplish at the next level.

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐍𝐨𝐰 — 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭

UMBC Class of 2025 commit Alissa Grant was part of the Peak Volleyball Club family from the beginning, playing with the club through her 17U season before continuing her volleyball career at the Division I level.

After completing her freshman season at UMBC, Alissa reflected on a year of growth. Although her season was cut short by a knee injury that required surgery, she used the recovery process to grow both as an athlete and as a person. Alissa is majoring in Media and Communication Studies.

One of her favorite memories from her freshman year was winning the America East Conference Championship and competing in the NCAA Tournament with her team.

Her advice to younger athletes going through the recruiting process:
“Don’t feel pressured to make a decision you’re not ready for. Be patient, trust the process, and make sure you’re 100% confident in the school you choose to commit to.”

As she prepares for her sophomore season, Alissa is looking forward to being back on the court after recovering from knee surgery.

We’re proud of Alissa and everything she has accomplished, and we look forward to following her journey at UMBC.
