The official page for Embry-Riddle's Formula SAE Team We are a student operated venture that is funded by sponsorship support.
As a team, we design and build a single seat hybrid electric race car with the help of undergraduate and graduate students at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. For the 2010-2011 race year, the team is building a carbon fiber monocoque chassis along with an all carbon fiber suspension for the first time ever. Along with these unique engineering challenges, we also design and build our own electrical system that couples with our 250cc motorcycle engine to become a hybrid.

We had such an amazing day yesterday at the Gainesville Speedway!! A big big thank you to for hosting us during their $2,000 challenge.
It was a great way to test the car on the track and get valuable data as we close in on competition day.
Our driver, Liam Mahon, ran a 37.3, second fastest of the day and first in our class!

For our first ever throwback Thursday, we are kicking things off with our 2022 car, ER-06!
While it wasn’t our most successful competition car, ER-06 laid the groundwork for many future achievements. Building on ER-05, this car was developed with a clear goal: design and build a complete car within a single school year—something the team hadn’t accomplished since ER-04 in 2018. Even more impressive? This was done with an incredibly young team. Out of the 22 people in this photo, 8 were freshmen, 10 were brand new to FSAE, and only 4 had ever been to competition before.
