Dive into the fascinating world of birds with an engaging educational event, “What is Ornithology? Bird Science,” at the Breakers Environmental Learning Center, 13 S. Ocean Ave. Join us Wednesday, Feb. 5, at 10 a.m. for a morning filled with hands-on activities that bring the science of birds to life with The Marine Science Center. This family-friendly event includes opportunities to:

• Meet a live raptor and learn about these majestic birds of prey.
• Master the use of binoculars for birdwatching.
• Participate in the "Birds of a Feather Stick Together" activity.
• Create a bird anatomy craft and explore avian biology.
