St. Norbert College Women's Basketball St. Norbert College Women's Basketball Team Page We have a strong history of successful women’s basketball under former longtime head coach Connie Tilley.

We joined the Midwest Conference in 1983, winning a league championship in our first season of competition in 1983-84. Previously, we competed in the Wisconsin Independent Colleges-Women’s Athletic Conference (WIC-WAC). We are new to the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) starting in the 2021-22 season under Head Coach Amanda Leonhard-Perry. Come see us play – our home games are on campus at Mulva Family Fitness and Sports Center. Norbert hosted the 1985 NCAA Division III Final Four at the former Schuldes Sports Center. The Green Knights previously played at Van D**e Gym, which is still in existence in the Van Den Heuvel Family Campus Center.

Congrats to our very own, Coach Perry on her induction into the Hall of Fame this weekend at her alma mater, Ladysmith High School! We’re glad she’s a Green Knight! ⚜️


🏆 2026 LADYSMITH ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME 🏆

Daughter of Bill and Sue Leonhard, Amanda was a remarkable four-sport athlete, excelling in volleyball, cross country, basketball, and softball. She lettered four years in basketball, three in softball, two in volleyball, and one in cross country and served as captain in three different sports (volleyball, softball and basketball).

🏀 Basketball Record-Breaker
Amanda broke Pat Swanke's 1977 LHS scoring record, finishing with 1,720 points, even though her era played fewer, shorter games (20 games at 32 minutes vs. today's 24 at 36). She remains #2 on the all-time LHS scoring list.
Set school records for career scoring (1,720 points) and assists.
First Team All-Conference all four years in basketball; First Team All-State twice.
Helped LHS win the HON Conference three years, WIAA regionals three years, and a WIAA sectional championship.

⚾ Softball Standout
Set school records for career RBIs and batting average.
First Team All-Conference twice, Second Team once; helped LHS win a HON Conference title.

🏐 Amanda also earned First Team All-Conference honors in volleyball and helped LHS capture two WIAA regional championships.

✈️ Beyond LHS
Amanda played four years at UW-Green Bay, helping the team win four regular-season conference championships and reach three NCAA Tournaments. A First Team All-Conference selection as a sophomore, she finished her career with 1,097 points, 332 assists, 189 steals, and 114 three-pointers, all top-10 marks in program history. She was a two-time Academic All-Conference honoree and finished 25th in NCAA history in free-throw percentage, still holding UW-Green Bay's all-time free-throw record at .847.

Amanda enters her seventh season as St. Norbert College's women's head basketball coach in 2026-27, having earned NACC Coach of the Year honors in 2022-23 and 2024-25.
