As dancers, we should share our talents with the community. We need to let our children know that applause is just as important as a trophy, if not better.

Mission: Dance is not a necessity, but a privilege!

Operating as usual

[11/18/20]   Yesterday was a crazy day for dance studios. I was in contact with Channel 5 News in the morning and did an interview for the 5:00 news at 9:00am. Channel 5 was helping us to clarify the proclamation issued by Governor Reynolds and to let us know after the Governor's press conference at 11:00 if dance studios were to close. They responded by with yes you are to close except for one on one classes. At 2:00 the Governor's office reached out and verified that yes we are to close. At 4:00 the Governor's office reached out with great news, after discussing this with the Governor that yes we may remain open following strict restrictions that we are already are practicing. Channel 5 reached out again after the 5:00 news and gave me the same good news. Yeah!!! By 4:30 it was too late to reschedule classes, which was very upsetting to us. I have always felt that doing the right thing was what we need to do and to set strong morals for our children was important. Other studios were also in contact with a different person at the state house and received different information. 2020 has proven to test us all in exercising our rights, morals and the correct thing to do. There should be something said in the news or by the Governor today regarding dance studios being able to open, but I have printed information giving us the ok to open. Thank you parents for your support and understanding!

We need our kids to dance!
