DES MOINES โ€” Central DeWittโ€™s Eli Edfors placed 8th in the Class 2A 132-pound weight class at the State Wrestling Tournament.

Eli lost his quarterfinal match, but bounced back for a victory in the blood round! He will place in the top 8 and competes again tonight and tomorrow morning!

Unfortunately, Cale dropped his last match and finishes the tournament 2-2. Weโ€™re still incredibly proud of him and the season he put together! After being injured the first weekend and not competing again until conference week, the way he battled back says everything about his toughness and heart.

For those of you who bought a shirt they can be picked up inside the arena! After you enter the main entrance take an immediate left and you will find Cael Green and Coach Cannon! Across from section 101.
