WE'RE BACK!!!!
Hi,
We are going to start the Ski and Snowboard Club on Friday, January 14, 2022. We may or may not have buses to transport participants up to Mt. Holly. If we have buses, we will let you know immediately. If we aren't able to get buses, we will be selling family passes, lift tickets and lesson tickets up at Mt. Holly in our room. It is located up the stairs from the cafeteria. We will be posting signs. There is a shortage of drivers and that has made it difficult for us to hire a company to transport us. I will keep you informed. The flyer containing all of the information for the Dearborn Heights Ski and Snowboard Club will be posted tomorrow, so please stay tuned.
It is also with great sadness that I inform you that Mr. Gerry has recently passed away. Mr. Gerry Willemse started this Club many, many years ago. He will be missed.
Ms. Kim Laurencelle (formerly Constan)
Director
Parks & Recreation Department

Our SMART bus will be located near the Ski Patrol building and we will be selling out of that. We will not be in the lodge in our normal room. We are not charging membership fees but you will have to purchase a card for $22.00 to be eligible to purchase lift and lesson tickets at our discounted rate. Rates are as follows:
Discount Card $22.00
Student Lift Tickets $22.00
Ski Lesson Ticket $11.00

There will not be a 3 day trip this year due to the virus.

What a great indoor fire! So warm!
We are having a great time at the Round Hearth! More billiards and air hockey! They have a disc jockey for us tonight and the kids have been line dancing and hula hooping. We topped the night off with a great fire and brownies with ice cream on them. And a little Bob Seger for the adults. Nothing like good ole rock and roll!! This place is a great hangout for teenagers and adults!
Great day on Mt. Mansfield! The kids loved it. Stowe Mountain is fantastic. No injuries today. We were skiing and snowboarding in the clouds!
Here we go again - actually it never stopped. It is going to be great once we get on the mountain!
Still snowing! Still not in Vermont. We can’t ski or snowboard today liked planned because there is no night sking/snowboarding at Stowe. Thanks goes out to all the parents letting us flip our skiing/snowboarding to Sunday.
So sad!!!! Traveling in this has been slow.
It’s a slow goðŸ˜. Lost time because of bad weather. Just went through Buffalo New York border. Got lots of travel time left. So sad!!!
On our way through Canada to Vermont. Everyone has finally quieted down for a short nights sleep! A quick stop at Tim Hortons did the trick. Still a long ride ahead.
The Superheros Came Out! Or is it an Olympian?
The ski/snowboard trip to Pine k**b tomorrow has been cancelled due to ski conditions. Call the office if you have any questions. Refunds will be issued for payments received.
