💕MEET OUT ASSISTANTS💕

We have five lovely assistants this year! Please welcome Ms. Mia, Ms. Italia, Ms. Savannah, Ms. Payton and Ms. Lyla!

We select out assistants based on students with good attendance and dedication to their craft to help support our teachers in dance class. We are so proud and excited to have them all!

We asked our assistants a few questions and they gave their answers below!

How long have you been dancing? 🧑🏽‍🩰💕

Payton: This is my 6th year dancing!

Mia: I have been dancing for 7 years now.

Lyla: 8 years of dance so far!

Savannah: this is my 7th year of dance.

Italia: I’ve been dancing now for 9 years.

What has been your favorite class to take? 🩰💕

Mia: I love pointe! 🧑🏼‍🩰🩰

Savannah: my favorite class is Pom/hip hop 📣💕

Payton: I love our Pom/hip hop class! 📣💕

Italia: I love ballet! 🧑🏻‍🩰🩰🩷

Do you participate in any other extra curricular activities outside of dance? 🪩🩷

Payton: I’ve been playing volleyball 7 years! 🏐

Savannah: I play soccer ⚽️ and I’ve been
learning how to crochet for a year now! 🧶

Mia: dance is my main extra curricular but I’m also and really big reader! 📚

Italia: I’ve been playing volleyball for 2 years! 🏐

Lyla: I’m on the volleyball team and part of the art club at my school! 🎨🏐

💕MEET THE STAFF💕

Last, but certainly not least!! We’re so happy to welcome back Ms. Lana who will be working the desk with Ms. Marla on Thursday nights!

Ms. Lana has never been a dancer but her two wonderful children are! Her oldest is one of our assistants!

Ms. Lana was a dance mom when we approached her about working the front desk for us. She said yes, and we’re never letting her leave(haha!). She’s been an amazing addition to our JLDA team.

Ms. Lana is the PTA president of her kids school (we love an involved momma!) and actually spent time studying abroad in Ireland in college! How cool is that?!

We are so lucky to have Ms. Lana and grateful to her returning once again for another season with JLDA. She can’t wait to see you all Thursday nights! 🩷🫶🏽🪩

💕MEET THE STAFF💕

Welcome back to Wednesday nights Ms. Ginger! We are so thrilled to have her return for her 3rd year working our front desk with Ms. Lynn!

Ms. Ginger is so excited to be back with the staff at JLDA. We met her through our very own student Ms. Italia, our assistant and her daughter! We’re so grateful Ms. ginger wanted to work with us and be part of the action here.

Ms. Ginger is actually one of the school secretaries at Nowlin elementary. Ms. Ginger is an avid reader, you’ll probably catch her and Ms. Stephania chatting and swapping books when they see each other on Wednesdays! She loves to hike and garden and is always down for new experiences in life!

We are so happy to have Ms. Ginger back with us Wednesday nights for the 2026/2027 season! 💕🪩🫶🏽

💕MEET THE STAFF💕

We’re so happy to welcome back Ms. Lynn for her 4th year working the front desk here at JLDA! You’ll be seeing Ms. Lynn on Wednesday nights at Nowlin.

Ms. Lynn has been a dancer her whole life! Ms. Lynn was upgraded from dancer to dance mom when Ms. Lindsey(yes! That ms. Lindsey!) started dancing when she was little! Ms. Lynn doesn’t just know the ropes, she practically invented them 😉. We could not be more grateful to have her come out of “dance retirement” and work with us yet again! Ms. Lynn is also auntie to our owner, Ms. Jaclyn. But really ms. Lynn is basically our second mom while we’re at the studio 🫶🏽

Ms. Lynn is an avid cook, she literally will bring you a plate from home, it’s her love language. Ms. Lynn loves the outdoors, the sun, the moon, the stars make her happy and that explains why her favorite thing to do is camp! She loves traveling in her RV and is a firm believer in being positive in all situations 💕

We are so lucky to have Ms. Lynn once again working with us and helping our students and parents on Wednesday nights! She can’t wait to see you all!🤸🏽‍♀️🫶🏽💕
