June is Animals Month at Goldfish! 🐠 Did you know fish use their lateral line to 'feel' water movement — kind of like how our swimmers learn to feel the water with every stroke? All month long we're celebrating the amazing animals that inspire us.

Water safety starts with the little things—and those little things make a big difference 💙

1. Always keep eyes on your swimmer 👀
Designate a “Water Watcher” when kids are in or near the pool—no phones, no distractions. Drowning is silent and can happen quickly.

2. Stay within arm’s reach 🤝
For young or beginner swimmers, always stay close enough to grab them immediately—especially in pools, lakes, or at the beach.

3. Build skills, not just confidence 🏊‍♀️
Floaties can help, but real water safety comes from swim lessons and learning how to float, roll, and reach the wall safely.
