Hello friends! Do you ever wonder if you’re “doing it right”? Why did that movement feel different today? Could you relax your shoulders a little more? What happens if you slow it down? Tai Chi and Qigong give us plenty of opportunities to be curious, so don’t be afraid to ask questions—sometimes the questions are where the learning really begins.
We look forward to practicing with you this week!

Now is always a perfect time to find inter peace. ☯️
🌅 Why wait until tomorrow to begin finding a little more peace?
Charlie Brown says, “Tomorrow I will begin my journey toward inner peace.” Snoopy’s simple answer—“Why not begin today?”—is a wonderful reminder that we don’t need to wait for the perfect time to begin.
Tai Chi has taught me that peace isn’t necessarily something we find somewhere in the future. We can begin cultivating it right now—with a few quiet breaths, a few mindful movements, or simply by taking a little time for ourselves.
As Ralph Waldo Emerson said:
“Nothing can bring you peace but yourself.”
That journey doesn’t have to begin tomorrow. It can begin today. ☯️
💬 Who has just begun their Tai Chi journey? What are you enjoying most so far?

Hello friends! As we get older, things like balance, mobility, and the fear of falling can become more important than we might expect. Tai Chi and Qigong offer a gentle way to work on balance, coordination, strength, and body awareness while staying within your own comfort level. You don’t have to be athletic or particularly flexible to benefit from the practice—small, consistent movements can make a difference. It’s never too early, or too late, to start working on staying steady and mobile.
We look forward to practicing with you this week!

Hello friends! We often think of balance as standing perfectly still, but in Tai Chi and Qigong, balance is really about making small adjustments as we move. This week, try noticing how often you carry tension in your shoulders, and when you catch yourself, let them drop and take one easy breath. Sometimes a small adjustment is all it takes to feel a little more balanced.

Hello friends! Today marks the start of a new school year for many families. It's a good time to bring a beginner's mindset into our Tai Chi and Qigong practice—staying curious, asking questions, and being open to learning, no matter how long we've been doing it. Sometimes the biggest improvements come from looking at something familiar with fresh eyes.

Hello friends! Every class is a chance to notice something new. Maybe a movement feels a little smoother, your balance is a little steadier, or you simply remember to relax your shoulders. Tai Chi and Qigong aren't about getting everything right—they're about paying attention and enjoying the process. Those little moments have a way of adding up. We look forward to practicing with you this week!

💙 There was a time in my life when I wondered if I would ever feel like myself again.
For years, I struggled with panic attacks and anxiety.
Many of you know me as someone who has practiced Tai Chi every day for more than 32 years. What you may not know is that there was a time when simply going to a restaurant, standing in a checkout line, or even driving home could feel overwhelming.
I've recently updated one of the most personal articles on Tai Chi Daily and shared my journey more openly than ever before.
Tai Chi became one of the many tools that helped me recover, but the biggest lesson I learned was never to give up.
If you know someone who is struggling with anxiety or panic attacks, I hope you'll consider sharing this article with them. It may be exactly what they need to read today.

Hello friends! I don't know about y'all, but there is zero motivation in our house to cook these days. Maybe a little grilling, but that's it. If you're feeling the same way, here's an easy and healthy recipe that goes with almost everything. The best part about it is it gets better the longer you have it in your fridge. It's a favorite around here when we are keeping it light or hungry after a Tai Chi or Qigong class! We hope you enjoy it! Click https://www.beardandbonnet.com/recipes/asian-cucumber-salad-recipe/
