Hi Atlanta Friends!
If you have been wanting to learn the art of Sourdough Bread Baking, please join us this Friday Vista Yoga 😍 from 5:30-8pm

Sourdough relies on a mix of wild yeast and lactic acid bacteria that naturally occurs on wheat to leaven the dough, rather than baker’s yeast. It’s richer in nutrients, less likely to spike your blood sugar, contains lower amounts of gluten, and is generally easier to digest than bread made with rapid rise yeast.

In this class, each participant will receive a sourdough starter, learn basic techniques of making sourdough bread, and enjoy a light meal including an appetizer, spinach and artichoke dip and a tuscan, white bean soup, both of which go beautifully with our sourdough bread.
Just three spaces available so message me asap!
$65 per person, Space is limited

HAPPY NEW MOON 🌚 in LIBRA ♎️
HEALING ENERGY TOOLS

New Moons are sacred spaces for planting seeds of intention, and with Libra taking center stage, the spotlight shines directly on your relationships, partnerships, and inner harmony.
This cycle invites you to bring deep balance into your life and reflect on the pivotal choices shaping your future. By honoring both connection and self-alignment, you create fertile ground for lasting peace and meaningful growth.

* 10 / 10 / 10 PORTAL 💫
Today brings extraordinary high-frequency alignment. The 10th day of the 10th month in a 10 Universal Year (2026 = 2+0+2+6 = 10).
Because 10 reduces to 1, this cosmic convergence activates 111, the master frequency of instant manifestation, bold new beginnings, and rapid spiritual awakening.
Whatever intentions, thoughts, and energy you put out today are amplified exponentially, making it the perfect moment to release self-limiting beliefs, set crystal-clear intentions, and step fearlessly into your next chapter.

NEW MOON AFFIRMATION🌙

Under the dark of the new moon, I sink into the quiet, potent stillness of fresh beginnings.
I release the weight of past cycles, trusting that what has ended has made space for what is coming. With intention and clarity, I plant the seeds of my deepest desires into fertile ground.
As the moon grows in light, so too does my capacity to receive, create, and embody my highest potential. I am aligned with the flow of the universe, rooted in my power, and open to all the magic that is unfolding for me.

CONGRATULATIONS Vista Yoga 200hr YTT 2026 Graduates!🎉🙏🎉

Start Close In
by David Whyte

Start close in,
don’t take the second step or the third,
start with the first thing close in,
the step you don’t want to take.

Start with the ground you know,
the pale ground beneath your feet,
your own way to begin the conversation.

Start with your own question,
give up on other people’s questions,
don’t let them smother something simple.

To hear another’s voice,
follow your own voice,
wait until that voice becomes an
intimate private ear
that can really listen to another.

Start right now, take a small step
you can call your own.
Don’t follow someone else’s
heroics, be humble and focused.

Start close in, don’t mistake
that other for your own.
Start close in, don’t take
the second step or the third.
Start with the first
thing close in.

During the past 7 months, over 9 weekends, we had the great privilege of supporting these 12 amazing human beings in our 200hr Vista Yoga / Prajna Yoga Teacher Training. Some had been practicing yoga for years, others were newer to the practice. They shared a common thread; wanting to learn more about the other limbs of yoga, aside from asana, and deepen their own practice.
We studied yoga philosophy and explored the body through the anatomical lens of Western science applying what we learned to our practice and everyday life. We applaud their commitments, efforts and accomplishments and excited to watch them soar!
Special thanks to Patricia Schmidt and Ian Boccio for your contributions!

The beautiful thing about Yoga, is that it meets you where you are. It is then up to the practitioner to decide where they want to take it. Yoga Teacher Training can be demanding, and requires courage and a good dose of curiosity. We encourage each of our students to”start close in, take the next right step, and find their own voice.”

This poem may inspire you to start something that may be challenging with any small action forward, especially when it feels scary or uncomfortable. Yoga helps us to learn to trust ourself and to remeber: “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”

“The Harvest Full Moon” 🌕Maggie Erotokritou

Tonight’s Harvest Full Moon illuminates your intentions for the new season. What stands out or needs greater clarity? The Full Moon amplifies what needs our attention, bringing greater clarity to where we are now and how far we have come. It’s a good time for a reality check, to listen more closely to your intuition and pay attention to what is coming up for you now and align yourself fully with your new vision for this season.
The gathering of the harvest rewards your efforts. Some of the seeds that you planted will now be in full bloom, some may have been left by the wayside or others still need nurturing just as oftentimes we do too.
Take a moment to celebrate what you have achieved, give thanks for the lessons and experiences that have brought you to this point in time and allow yourself to dream into being what comes next.
What is your vision for this new season, step into the creative flow, the wheels are in motion, it’s time to step forward.
Full moon blessing, love, light and magic!💛💫✨

“Autumn Blessing”

The light and the dark are the same in length,
they have equal time and equal strength.
But soon the darkness will prevail,
and the light and the warmth will begin to pale.
Do not be afraid, do not dismay,
for this is the rhythm of nature’s way.
Rejoice in the abundance that this year bears,
Breathe deep in the coolness and change in the air.
Have gratitude and blessing, keep toll,
And may this shift of nature enlighten your soul.

The Autumnal Equinox is the midpoint between summer and winter when light and dark are in perfect balance. Symbolically, we are invited to hold these two energies at once;
Light & Dark. We can also hold gratitude for what we has come to us so far,
and well as release what we no longer need as for our next chapter.

Over the next few days or week, take a moment to reflect, allow yourself to experience
the shift of the season, and what you can bring to your day.
This is a wonderful time of year to enjoy a quiet walk in nature, light a candle
to refresh your space, and to simply pause to appreciate the season shifting.

It is also a perfect time to return to your mat and take time for your practice.
We have some wonderful events in store for you. Please join us!🕉️🙏😊

09/11/2026

This Friday is the start of the Jewish Holiday, Rosh Hashanah, the
Jewish New Year. It is also the 25th year remembrance of the 9/11 attack on our country. Many of us can remember where we were that morning and the horror that struck at our very being. We may also remember how united we became as a country, how we turned towards one another and offered support, no matter what political affiliation, sexual orientation, color of skin, etc.
This Friday may we honor the almost 3,000 Americans who died that day and the countless first responders who courageously put their lives at risk to save others.
Tikkun Olam is a Hebrew phrase meaning “repairing the world.” It comes from the Hebrew roots meaning “to set in order” or “repair” (tikkun) and “the world” or “universe.” In Judaism it describes taking actions that improve or heal society. It provides the context for one’s purpose in life.
The convergence of the September 11 anniversary and Rosh Hashanah calls us to balance the heavy grief of remembrance with the hopeful renewal of the Jewish New Year.
May we each use this holiday and every day to practice “Tikkun Olam,” to work together to repair our world.🙏🌎💙
