This year, our theme was Turkey Creek Butcher Shop. There was a lot of preparation and DIY projects that Fanceey and Ashley started on back in September! They did a great job with that and setting up all the decorations for our campground trick or treating night! Thank you, Emery, for helping us with our day and night and helping me with other decorations! It most certainly didn’t go unnoticed! I appreciate you ladies more than you know! Thank you to all who have commented on how great the Halloween and Fall decorations are and how beautiful, clean and maintained our park is! It’s teamwork and we have a great team!

Halloween at Turkey Creek 2026 was so much fun tonight! The kids enjoyed a ghost scavenger hunt this afternoon and was able to pick out fun prizes tonight while trick or treating at our table! There was lots of candy and fun decorations at each site! The adults always seem to have as much fun as the kids! We always look forward to Halloween around here! We love when our guests enjoy family time, meeting new friends and making lasting memories! Keep an eye open because there will be a couple more posts with pictures!

A little humor on this Halloween Saturday!

Mr. Skelley helping Fanceey and Ashley make treats for trick or treating with our camping and cabin guests tomorrow night. What is it, you might ask? The theme of our trick or treat area in the campground is Turkey Creek Butcher Shop. What they are making is “mystery meat” which is rice crispy treats with red food dye! We will also have regular rice crispy treats for the kids who have allergies.

Mrs. Cleveland was showing her husband how it’s done today! She caught a nice 3.8 lb bass!

Mr. Skelley has some exciting news!!! He wants to let all you horse riders know we have a six mile loop open on our horse trail! It’s perfect weather for horseback riding through the woods! He also wants to remind you we have a cowboy campground with eight campsites and two available stalls! Another reminder: we still have some campsites available for our Halloween weekend as well!
