What it means to Ms. Kay to be someone’s first dance teacher 🤍 Ms. Kay totally relates to shy students, and dancers who get stage fright, as she used to be that little dancer 🩰

Meet Tutu Teacher Miss Laina 🩰✨

Laina graduated from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC with a BA in Mathematics and minors in Economics, Date Science and Dance. She moved to Atlanta for her role at Bank of America as a Quantitative Analyst. Laina started dancing at four years old, and while she has studied ballet, jazz, and modern over the past 18 years, ballet is her favorite. She trained at Open Arts Dance Studio in Morrisville, NC for seven years, and also attended the Carolina Ballet Summer Intensive for two years, studying with New York City Ballet principal dancer Megan Fairchild, among others. She was a teacher’s assistant at Open Arts for six years helping with ballet and jazz for 3-10 year olds, and then taught ballet and jazz to elementary, middle, and high school dancers for four years during college. She is so excited to join the Tutu School family and share her love of ballet with your dancers!

We are so happy to have Miss Laina joining us!
