A year ago today, OA closed its doors for good in Deer Park. Here’s to everyone who still talks and posts about all the great days we had together there. We consider you all our champions, and still appreciate all the messages and continued friendships that have endured! 🏆

Another thing “OA” has stood for since Day 1: Outstanding Athletes! While some may be famous or get more spotlight, the truth is that EVERY one of the nearly 22000 total visitors to our gym have been truly outstanding and just as important as any. No matter how strong, fast, or skilled anyone was, with the right attitude they were always welcomed into our family and treated like they Pro they are. We guess that means OA stands for one more thing: Openly Accepted. 💯

Grand Opening… grand closing. Thank you to the incredible community of Deer Park for being our host since 2017. The customers, neighbors, and fellow businesses that supported us will always mean the world to us. “OA” are of course the initials of our business, but they also stand for Ohana Always- meaning that we will continue to be family 🤙🏽

The rest of our podiums from this weekend’s double competition at OA! Today the 13U and older ninjas ran in their UNAA Regionals, and these athletes shown have now qualified for the World Championships in July! At the end of the FINA Endurance competition we also awarded our top overall scorers (across both days combined) with great prizes, and gave every participant a gift of liquid hand chalk for their efforts.

THANK YOU to all the athletes, spectators, and sponsors who made it a fantastic final event at this location. We will keep everyone informed about our next move, and look forward to seeing everyone there SOON!

Great ninja action this morning from our UNAA Regionals and FINA Endurance runners. Here are the podiums from the U11 and U9 divisions who have now qualified for the UNAA World Championships in July! Stay tuned for more award winners tomorrow as the older divisions get their turn to run our course.

The course is set and its gonna be an awesome event today and tomorrow! A lot at stake for these UNAA Regionals and FINA Endurance qualifiers. Come down and watch the ninjas compete in our final event at this location- spectators are just $5 cash at the door!

After months of top secret deliberations, we can finally announce our plans for the future of Obstacle Athletics!!

Starting next week, we will then dedicate ALL our classes exclusively to serve the age 70+ ninja warrior population. After years of mainly coaching kids and young adults, we’ve decided to go in a different direction with our business and branch out to this underserved demographic of Grandparent athletes. All classes will run daily at 2:30pm so that our members will be home in time for dinner, and will include a half hour of nap time after (or during) the class.
