It is with immense sadness and a heavy heart that we mourn the passing of Rory Patrick Broderick, who left us far too soon on January 9, 2025, at just 19 years old. Rory was more than a player and coach to us—he was a beacon of dedication, resilience, and compassion in our community.

From the moment Rory joined us, his presence was magnetic. He approached every challenge with determination, every game with passion, and every teammate with kindness. As a coach, Rory poured his heart into mentoring younger athletes, instilling not just skills but values of teamwork, perseverance, and integrity. He had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel seen and valued, both on and off the court.

Beyond his talents in the game, Rory’s true legacy lies in the relationships he built. His laughter was contagious, his smile lit up every room, and his unwavering positivity inspired us all. He was a role model, a confidant, and a friend who left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered.

As we grieve his loss, we also celebrate the profound impact Rory had on our lives.

Pretty Surreal weekend at volleyball tournament. Joining with brought together 2 top clubs with one goal to bring together the talented players in our area. Couldn’t be happier with this decision and the results. In a major AAU tournament, we took home 4 Championships. 13 Blue, 14 Blue, 15 Blue all won the OPEN division while 15 Black won the PREMIER division. On top of that, 12 Blue 3rd, 12 Gold 4th, 13 Gold 2nd, 14 Gold 5th, 14 Black 9th, 16 Blue finished 7th, 16 Teal 3rd, 17 Blue finished 3rd, 18 Blue finished 2nd. 16 Black, 16 White, and 17 Gold made the Gold bracket as well.

I’m so proud. Last year I made the best decision of my life to merge my club with We have become the largest boy’s volleyball club in all of Illinois in our 1st year together. 34 teams! A home for close to 400 athletes to learn and play a game I love. We have a tremendous staff that make the job a fun place to be everyday. I’m so thankful to everyone! Let’s have a great season!
