Busch Memorial Conservation

I am looking to get my young daughter out for some trout fishing, preferably somewhere bait and keeping your catch is acceptable. Is that possible at any of the Busch lakes? Looking at going between Dec. 2-8th (while Grandpa is visiting). Will it most likely be frozen then? We live in St. Peters, any recommendations if Busch lakes wouldn't work?
I am moving so this is to say thank you for over 20 years of great bass fishing. All of these were caught and released on numerous lakes. The largest was over 8 pounds on lake 6 i believe in 2014 🤘
I found a dog wandering around Lake 34 yesterday (Saturday, April 10). There were no cars or people around. I waited with him for an hour hoping to hear someone calling for him. No collar. No chip. If you lost a dog, he is safe, warm, and dry and you can find him at:

Anyone fish regularly any day early M-F here at Busch?

Pm me if you would like to help out a newbie those days.

Thanks folks.
I was out with a couple friends painting near Lake 35 last Friday. Just working on this one this afternoon, as last Friday, the sun went down before I got it all. Hope you like it.
Does anyone know of the sunflowers are still up here??
Snow along the path...

It's the most wonderful time of the year again and Santa will come to visit with your children at home.

Wentzville residents, have Santa Claus visit your home before Christmas! On Dec. 19 or Dec. 20, Santa will stop by for a special (socially distanced) hello. You can even track him on a new system as he gets closer to your house! But Santa needs advance notice. So invite him soon! The deadline to request a visit is Dec. 11. DEER SPOTLIGHTING: Wayne County Agents Jacob Plunkett and Drew Miller recently completed a spotlighting investigation after discovering an antlered buck and a second deer were illegally shot from a vehicle along a public roadway. Pursuing deer with a spotlight and shooting from a roadway are not only illegal and unethical, but pose a serious threat to public safety. If you witness any hunting or fishing violations, contact your local conservation agent, or call Operation Game Thief at 1-800-392-1111.
