thoughts this morning…..

after i led my monday morning class and was challenging myself in my own practice with a pose i haven’t tried in months…

do your best until you know better.

when you know better, do better.

progress matters more than perfection.

such as life.

take up space.

notice the patterns.

recognize your strength & your blessings.

stretch yourself beyond your comfort zone.
chances are it won’t be easy but it will always be worth it on the other side. ✌️ 💪 ✨

maybe this season isn’t asking you to become someone new.

maybe it’s asking you to stop pretending you’re still who you used to be.

In order to expand, to take up space… we must:

Release the version that kept the peace.

Release the version that settled because it was easier.

Release the version that built a beautiful life from the tools she had...

..so the woman you've become finally has room to build one by choice.

You don't have to know every next step.

Just be willing to tell yourself the truth.

Then say it out loud.

The women who find themselves again are rarely doing it alone.

Here's to courage.

Here's to authenticity.

Here's to community.

Here's to reaching for the life that has your name on it.

Full moon in Aquarius today… and it’s on the same day the sun meets Jupiter in the sign of Leo. This is significant as it is the first time in 12 years since this alignment. It is also considered the luckiest day of the year.

It takes about 12 years to circle the whole sky, which means it only comes back around to the same place roughly once a decade. So when it meets the Sun in a particular sign, think of it like an anniversary. It hands you back a moment from 12 years ago and says: look what you were building then. Look what you’ve become since.

Twelve years ago I had just moved back to my hometown, as a family of four, married with toddlers under three, an online fitness business, in the best shape of my life. From the outside, it looked complete. A young family, freshly planted, everything in motion. And it was real and it was the life I knew how to want at the time.

But a lot can happen in 12 years…

Same light. Twelve years later. Completely different life underneath it.

Think back about 12 years.

Who were you?
What were you building?
What looked complete then that you’ve quietly outgrown since?

Can you feel the expansiveness?

Can you feel the opportunity?

Can you lean in to what’s no longer serving so you can take up space and make space for what is meant for you?

The “luckiest day of the year” — The last time the sun met Jupiter like this was in 2014... the alignment is happening again and with that, tonight, in our VIRTUAL women’s full moon circle, we’ll talk about this. I’ll teach and lead you through to help you remember, release and reconnect.
