MEET OUR NEW VOLUNTEER CHEER COACH!
The Del Rio High School Cheer Booster Club is excited to introduce Kaitlyn Katz, our DRHS Cheer Volunteer Coach!
A proud DRHS alumna and former Varsity Cheer Captain, Coach Katz went on to cheer at the Division I level for four years at the United States Air Force Academy. Her experience as a collegiate athlete, Air Force officer, and leader brings a unique perspective on teamwork, discipline, resilience, and leadership to our program.

I am excited to have the opportunity to help Coach Snyder, Coach Infante, and Coach Torres take the DRHS Cheer Program to the next level.
My journey has taken me from cheering right here in Del Rio to competing and leading at the Division I level, serving as an Air Force officer, and mentoring young people in athletic, educational, and military settings.
Each experience has strengthened my belief that cheerleading is about so much more than what happens on the sidelines or the competition floor. It teaches athletes to trust one another, overcome challenges, lead with confidence, perform under pressure, and hold themselves to a higher standard.
As a volunteer coach, my goal is to help create a safe, positive, and high-performing environment where every athlete feels valued, challenged, and inspired to grow. I want our cheerleaders to develop not only their skills, but also the confidence, character, resilience, and leadership that will serve them throughout their lives.
Returning to Del Rio High School as a coach is incredibly meaningful to me. I am honored to give back to the program and community that gave me so much, and I cannot wait to help our athletes build lasting memories, achieve their goals, and proudly represent Del Rio.
Hereโs to an exciting season of hard work, growth, school spirit, and excellence!
Go Rams and Go Queens! ๐๐ฃ
