Hello - here to tell you to stop the excuses. I stopped being consistent with so many things because I was too busy with one thing or the other. Well, life is always busy. You need to choose what you carve out time and space for.

This is what I’m focusing on:
•good sleep
•daily smoothie or juice
•quality time with those I love
•daily movement
•daily meditation or prayer
•focus on gratitude
•choosing joy

What do you need to start making time for?

Need extra greens and veggies? Add arugula, cucumber and red bell pepper to left over pasta salad. Plus, it’s quick, easy and delicious. I also added dried parsley, basil, thyme and garlic powder. Delicious!

Life has been very busy and overwhelming. I always tell myself it’s going to slow down, yet it hasn’t. When it gets this way, I’m not always the best at taking time for myself and listening to my body. This is a reminder for myself and you to take a deep breath and thank yourself for all that you do. Slow down and enjoy your cup of coffee. Make your favorite avocado toast. Enjoy the slice of pizza. Love and like yourself. ❤️🥰

I’m lying on the couch thinking about when/what I’ll post next. I do that a lot. I make excuses why I don’t post. But, right now I’m thinking why I started this.

I want to share how I chose to nourish myself. The salads, juices, gal time, family moments, booze, exercise, finding joy, etc.

Right now m, I’m on the couch post my friend planning an amazing wine tasting and making homemade pizza. I’m full of so much joy and happiness.

I’ve heard a lot about people not liking to use the word balance, but that’s what my life is all about.

Spend and enjoy time with friends. Stay up late on your couch. Do the things that you love and don’t worry about others. 🧡

Take care of yourself first, so you can love those around you better.

The past month I’ve really let myself indulge and enjoy anything I craved without restrictions. I went on two vacations, attended a wedding, drank lots of wine and tequila, enjoyed ice cream multiple nights, but I also continued to have smoothies, juices, salads and get in some type of movement daily.

Everyday looks a little bit different. I wake up feeling a little different each day. I can definitely tell the ice cream and alcohol makes me tired, but the salad and smoothies give me energy.

I’m not going to say I’m going to go without alcohol or ice cream or sweets for a month. I’ve learned that when I get too restrictive, I then binge on the other side.

I do plan to reduce the toxins that I’ve been consuming. And I plan to up my veggies and have a colorful plate of food. I also want to get movement in everyday, along with more sleep.

You don’t need to go on a huge detox after overindulging. Your body naturally detoxifies, so getting back to YOUR normal routine that supports YOUR body is all you need to do.

Drink lots of water.
Get good sleep.
Move every day.
Have a variety of fruits and vegetables.

It’s been over a week since we got back, but I’m still feeling so good. Taking time away to focus on only the two of us, having so much fun and leaning into our love for each other. Life with you is the best!

How do you start your day? Comment your favorite breakfast.

Recently I’ve been loving a simple breakfast. It usually contains a little bit of fruit, coffee with coconut milk, and LOTS of water. Now every day isn’t the same but it’s similar this, but the time can vary. I may be eating at 8am or sometimes not till 11am. Growing up I ate breakfast everyday, and it was amazing! I was so lucky to have my mom make amazing breakfasts, but I would eat even when I wasn’t hungry. Now I wait until my body tells me to eat until I start.
