In the excitement and busyness of the past two months and being in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, I completely forgot to post about my upcoming Christ-centered Mindful Movement & Meditation class!
I would LOVE for you to join me next Thursday, July 30th at 6:30pm to press pause, breathe, move and focus our hearts on trusting God even when we can't see the whole story (yes, the class is Joseph themed, but I promise no show tunes!) Open to anyone and everyone! More info and sign up link in the comments!

If you're coming to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat this weekend, I have a challenge for you...
Before you come to the theater, take 15 minutes to read Joseph's story in Genesis 37–50.
The musical stays surprisingly true to the biblical account (with plenty of laughs, catchy songs, and a healthy dose of theatrical silliness woven in), but the heart of the story remains unchanged.
Joseph's journey reminds us that we can't always predict what's coming next. Life takes unexpected twists and turns. There are seasons of betrayal, waiting, disappointment, and uncertainty. But through every chapter, one truth remains: God is with us.
No pit is too deep. No prison too dark. No season of waiting too long for God to redeem and restore.
Joseph's story ultimately points us to a God who is always at work—even when we can't yet see what He's doing.
And one final request...
Please don't judge me for playing the scandalous Mrs. Potiphar! Ha!
Also, my next public Christ-centered Mindful Movement class is next Thursday, July 30th at 6:30pm! Sign up link in the comments!

Families are often times beautifully messy... and Joseph's family may have been one of the messiest in the Bible! 💛
Jealousy, greed, a murder plot and cover up, seduction, forgiveness, second chances, and God's faithfulness all woven into one incredible story. Come experience this timeless tale in a way that will have you laughing, singing, and maybe even tearing up. (I get goosebumps at every rehearsal!)

Hope to see you there! (I'll be causing a little mischief as Mrs. Potiphar! 😉)

This Independence Day weekend was exactly what my soul needed... slow, simple, and unhurried.
There wasn't a packed itinerary or rigid agenda. We enjoyed good food, quality family time, puppy snuggles, watching the boys install a new mailbox in the rain and fireworks in our backyard. After church today we checked the radar and decided on a family kayak adventure down the Bark River.
Earlier this morning, I had read an email from a fellow Christ-centered yoga teacher, Kym with ReRooted, about her Summer Sabbath Selah series—an invitation to pause, rest, and trust God. And it couldn't have been more timely.
In one of those little God moments, we quite literally bumped into Kym and her family peacefully floating down the river too! 😊 Great minds think alike!
Sometimes Sabbath isn't about doing less just for the sake of doing less—it's about making space to be fully present with God, with the people you love, and with the beauty He's placed all around you.
If your soul could use that kind of pause, I encourage you to check out ReRooted's page. Registration opens tomorrow for a retreat weekend this November.
