More pictures from the clinic. The bo was a particular favorite for me.
Stetson Aikido Club is a martial arts class with a variety of things to learn: striking, submission
The Stetson University Aikido Club is dedicated to the teachings of Yoseikan Budo, a mix of traditional and contemporary Japanese martial art practices, to Stetson students. We are part of a larger organization called the Yoseikan Budo Organization. Classes are taught by Glenn Pack, an 8th degree black-belt of the art, and his wife Patrica Saiz, a 7th degree black-belt. You can learn more about our National Organization on the USYBA Facebook https://www.facebook.com/USYOSEIKAN/

Welcome back to another semester! We will be having our first clinic of the year here at 12:30-4:30 PM at the Hollis Center on 2/24. We hope to see you there!
In the meantime, here is our quote of the week:
“Sorry if I flung you too hard”
“I did feel a little flung”

Hooray, I am an orange belt now! Oh, and congratulations to all the members that have ranked up yesterday! You all worked very hard, and it shows that you earned it during the exam.

Our new students got their Gi! With only a week left before our next belt advancement test, these uniforms are the perfect motivation to keep practicing. Who knew we had to order more?
And for our wonderful quote of the week: "Hey! You can't cut in line to get beaten up!"

We've had a great turn-out for our first few practices! Here is a photo of our Senpai teaching the new students how to do a backwards roll. And in the second photo we have our returning students brushing up on rolls as well.
