In January 2026, a SourcePoint member proposed a wonderful idea to commemorate our nation’s 250th Anniversary – a wood-carved intarsia quilt created by our talented woodcarvers!
The group gladly accepted the assignment and chose Judy Gale Roberts’ “United We Stand” intarsia pattern as the focal point, beautifully framed by 18 carved 5-by-5-inch squares representing important national achievements and symbols. The finished piece measures a generous 33 by 29 inches.
Eleven members of SourcePoint’s woodcarving group participated in this 6-month meaningful project, which was proudly presented to SourcePoint on June 30. The team included Chuck Lawrence, Arnold Ruppe, Bill Barker, BJ Myers, David Ward, Dennis Mills, Jim Segelhorst, Ron Holman, Steve Herbert, Steve Schmidt, and Terry Trefz.
THANK YOU, SourcePoint woodcarvers ❤️🤍💙
