Meet our PGA Associate Chris!
"I was born in Cleveland but raised in Columbus. I started golf at a young age, playing with my dad and brother and on my school’s teams. I recently fell back in love with the sport a few years ago, and with a nudge from my wife, decided to make it a new career path with a passion to teach and coach. I’m excited to be back in the game and look forward to helping others reach their goals in golf.

My current golf goals are to shave more strokes off my game—just like everyone else—play as many rounds as possible and join a league. Outside of work and golf, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two-month-old, our two dogs, and watching European football."

🌱 Happy Turf Tuesday! ⛳

The Delaware Golf Club maintenance crew has been working around the clock during the 90-degree weather we have had the past couple weeks. Between watering and raking bunkers, we owe it to them for our beautiful course.

Last week, they finished work on number 4's tee box. Earlier this year, they ripped out the cattails that separated the black & blue tees from the white & yellows. With fresh sod now in place, the area now feels much more cohesive.

This week, they have been punching the tee boxes, fairways, and approaches to prepare for fertilization in addition to this project on 13 green! After years of wear and tear, the crew did a major repair on the backside of the green. This includes replacing old, compacted soil with fresh material to restore drainage, turf health, and playability.

👏 Huge thanks to our incredible maintenance team for their hard work and commitment to keeping Delaware Golf Club looking and playing its best!
