You wouldn’t build a house starting with the roof…
This is one of the most common mistakes people make when training their core.
Many people overtrain their upper core muscles — commonly known as the “6-pack abs.”
Once you understand that your 6-pack abs are like the roof of a house, it becomes easier to understand why the foundation matters first.
Your lower core muscles are the foundation, while your obliques act as the walls that support the roof.
When your lower core & obliques are strong & integrated, your 6-pack abs finally have the support they need to become more toned, defined & functional.
If your core training keeps leaving you tight, limited or stuck, it might be time to start training your core differently. DM me “Core” & let’s get you dialed in.

If your training is leaving you feeling tight, limited or in pain, it might be due to a lack of balance & communication between your muscles through the Nervous system.
In other words, your muscles aren’t working together efficiently to create strength, mobility, gains & proper posture.
One of the biggest reasons for this is that most people train muscle groups separately, but never teach them how to work together.
For example, your lats, obliques, lower core, glutes & hamstrings need to be trained in an integrated way that teaches them to work together to create efficient, pain-free movement & strength — while helping you achieve your aesthetic & health goals.
When this integration doesn’t happen, you’ll often experience joint pain, back pain, poor form & a training experience that feels much harder than it should be.
Over & over again, I’ve seen clients improve movements they had completely stopped doing due to pain & poor form — without us even directly focusing on those movements.
Why?
Because when your muscles are integrated, balanced & communicating well through the Nervous system, movement & proper form become a natural by-product.
You’ll be able to learn & perform movements with much less effort & far more confidence.
If training keeps feeling harder than it should, it might be time to stop training muscles separately & start training your body as one integrated system.

The better your core function is, the better your gains, form & aesthetics will be — with less effort & more enjoyment.
Just “hitting abs” at the end of your workout isn’t always the best thing to do. Integrated function is what changes everything.

Having confidence in the gym that you’re doing the right things will always make training more fun & easier to stay locked in & consistent with.
Many people lose that confidence - or never find it at all - due to the limitations addressed in this video, such as the strength of your back in relation to your abdominal wall.
The lack of integrated training in mainstream fitness, like what’s described above, is one of the main reasons you might find yourself limited by poor form, mobility issues, or pain in your lower back, knees, hips or neck.
Integrated training is the holistic combination of strength & rehabilitation methods that deliver the lean body, strength & pain -free movement you want in all areas of your life.
If you’re tired if feeling limited every time you train, it might be time to start approaching your body differently. DM me “integrated” & let’s get you dialed in
If you’ve been feeling stuck or like something is missing within your health & fitness journey, this is most likely why…
We all have 4 bodies that greatly influence our health: the physical, mental, emotional & spiritual/ energetic body.
Unfortunately, our society, medical system & health & fitness industry mostly prioritize only 2 of these bodies…
Creating a gap that leads to confusion, burnout & limited results - or results that come with effort that just isn’t sustainable nor enjoyable.
That feeling that something is “off” despite doing everything right is more common than you think.
Many people might not resonate with or fully understand this reality, but if you do & you’re ready to close that gap and create the alignment that leads to more sustainable & enjoyable results….
It might be time to start approaching your health differently.
The body has “separate” units that operate as One.
When we train these units separately but never intentionally teach them to work together, we’re in violation of the principle of integrated training & movement.
Violation of this principle causes pain, injury and limits your gains from all your training efforts.
Chronic sitting causes a lot of chaos within the body such as muscle Imbalances
Muscle imbalances are usually the common cause of poor posture , pain, bad form when training & a hard time achieving the desired strength and physique/ aesthetics.
