In the opening match of JP Atrey cricket tournament, RANN STAR cricket club beat star studded Punjab Cricket Association team including India players like Mandeep Singh, Gurkirat Singh, Sandeep Sharma, Mayank markandey, Sitharth Koul by 6 wkts. Captain of Rann Star cricket club and India player Pawan Negi won the toss and elected to field first. PCA got of to a bad start as Fast bowler Abhishek Singh destroyed the top order of PCA by taking 4 early wickets. Tejas Baroka also Bowled a good spell by taking one wicket for 25 runs in 10 overs. Chasing a target of 223 runs RSCC won the match by 6 wkts. Man of the match Unmukt Chand scored an unbeaten 105 and captain Pawan Negi scored a quick fire 41 of 37 balls. The players of RSCC showed great composure and put up a great show against PCC. RSCC will play next match against UP cricket association on 2nd September at Sector-16 Grond.
