Today we’re giving a well-deserved thank you to our Superintendent, Eric Peterson!

If you know Eric, you know how much he cares about Dellwood. His dedication, incredible attention to detail, and willingness to jump in and help wherever he’s needed never go unnoticed.

The beautiful course conditions we’re lucky enough to enjoy every day are a direct reflection of the pride Eric takes in his work and the countless hours he and his team put in behind the scenes.

Eric, thank you for everything you do for Dellwood, our members, and your team. We’re incredibly lucky to have you and we appreciate you more than you know!

This week we had Midwest Deep Tine LLC out for greens aerification. They performed wet sand injection aerification, which is a specialized process designed to improve the health and performance of our greens with less surface disruption than traditional core aerification.

Using high-pressure water, narrow channels are created deep into the soil profile and immediately filled with sand. This helps relieve compaction, improve drainage, increase oxygen movement, and encourage deeper, healthier root growth. The injected sand also creates lasting pathways for water and nutrients to move through the soil more efficiently.

The result is healthier turf and firmer, more consistent playing surfaces.

Our ladies 18-hole guest day was a beachy good time 😎. Thank you to everyone who joined us and congratulations to our winners: Justine Hawksinson, Stacy Lambert, Michelle Ramola and Tara Olson!

Last night we held our annual employee appreciation party. We invited our staff and their families to enjoy a night at the pool as a thank you for their hard work this season. Also, thanks to the generous donations of our members we were able to award 25 students and graduates with scholarships to help with their education costs.

We are so thankful for our great team, and for our members investing in the future of our staff!
