Yoga for the Pause
A Somatic Yoga Workshop Series for Women in Perimenopause & Menopause
Nothing is wrong here. This is just what change feels like.
This is slow, somatic, therapeutic movement — a space to meet your body where it is, and come home to yourself.
Session One — August: Honoring the Season & Building Your Foundation
We start by naming what’s actually happening — menopause as a natural season shift, not something to fix. In Ayurveda, this is Vata time: change, movement, energy in flux. Yogic tradition calls it Vanaprastha — a turn inward.
We ground into the body with gentle movement for bone density and balance, breathwork, and restorative poses to help you feel steady and supported again.
Session Two — September: Moving Fluid, Flexible, and Free
This session works with what’s happening under the surface — joints, fascia, lymph, sleep, your mind. We move to keep the joints nourished and the fascia soft, support lymphatic flow and circulation, and close with breath and meditation that help you actually sleep better.
Session Three — October: Coming Home to Stability & Emotional Ease
We finish with the pelvic floor and core — real stability that makes daily life feel steadier. And because this transition isn’t just physical, we close with pranayama, restorative poses, and mindfulness to meet the emotional shifts with more ease.
When: One Saturday each month — August, 15, September 5, October 3
Where: Bamboo Garden Yoga, Delray Beach
Duration: 2 hours per session
No experience needed. Just an allowing to slow down and listen.
