Additionally, I am trained in Tai Ji Quan, Moving for Better Balance, integrating its principles into my holistic approach to wellness. You can find my class schedule and events on my website. Day 1 back in the States…

After 10 days in Costa Rica, re-entering real life is… an adjustment.

So much laundry.
So much unpacking.
So much trying to convince my body that we are, in fact, back in our time zone.

And then there are the little things you don’t realize you take for granted:

👕 Clothes that actually DRY.
🚽 Throwing toilet paper in the toilet. LOL.
🚗 Driving a car — I hadn’t driven one in 10 ! (Does the moped count? 😂)
🗣️ Being able to communicate with people without standing there with a completely blank stare.

Which reminds me… I really need to step up my Spanish-speaking game. Thank goodness Ryan was there to communicate because apparently my Spanish skills decided to stay on vacation. 😂

And then there were the bugs… ants biting our feet, giant spiders, and all the little creatures that made themselves VERY comfortable around us.

But honestly?

I’d take all of it again.

Because along with the bugs came the most incredible, beautiful, lush nature. The sounds. The colors. The rain. The adventures. The people. The laughter. The slowing down.

Costa Rica reminded me that the simple things really are the big things.

Today I’m grateful for dry clothes, flushing toilets, being able to speak English… 😂 and especially for the memories, the people who trusted me enough to take this journey, and a heart that came home a little fuller than when I left. ❤️🌴

Now… back to the laundry.

Costa Rica… what a journey. 🇨🇷❤️

My heart is full of gratitude for everyone who came, trusted me, and had faith in me enough to take this adventure together. You made this trip so special.

And then there’s my favorite travel companion… aka my son. 🥰 I’m so happy he came along for part of this journey. He stayed a few extra days with me, and we explored San José together—wandering through markets, visiting museums, eating, laughing, and making memories I’ll treasure forever.

Now I’m sitting at his gate, waiting for his plane to take off. I still have a little time before mine… and I’m officially the last one from our yoga community to leave.

And honestly? It’s bittersweet.

I’m leaving with tears in my eyes, a very full heart, and a whole lot of memories that will stay with me long after the suitcases are unpacked.

Costa Rica, thank you.
To everyone who came—thank you for trusting me.
And to my favorite… thank you for making this ending even more special. ❤️

🌿 Our last yoga practice of an incredible week in Costa Rica. 🌿

What a week it has been! So much adventure, a little (okay… a LOT) of rain, and so many memories. 💚

We’ve gone white-water rafting, kayaking, taken a 10-mile bike ride, rented mopeds, sound bath, cooking class, visited the Jaguar Rescue Center, toured a chocolate farm, got a massage, sat in sauna/ice bath explored town, played, laughed, and squeezed in plenty of yoga along the way.

And today… we’re celebrating! 🎉 The big festival honoring Afro-Caribbean culture is happening, rain in the morning but take the rest of the day off so we can enjoy every bit of it.

One last day of adventure before this amazing week comes to an end. Feeling grateful, a little tired, and very happy. ❤️🌴
