This is a family oriented motorcycle trail riding club based in Stanislaus County. The Merced Dirt Riders was a AMA District 36 motorcycle club.
The club promoted the Little Polecat Enduro last run in 2009. Lack of members and increasing requirements to hold the event on the Stanislaus National Forest including private land owners caused the end of a great event. Our club started in the late 70's and had a few enduros in the Clear Creek area. The club moved the event to the Stanislaus National Forest sometime in the late 1980's. Members were mostly based out of Merced, Ca. and over time centered around Modesto, CA.
