We're paddling for a great cause! Freedom Boat Club North Texas is proud to support Paddle for the Battle on September 26 at Highport Marina, a charity paddle poker run benefiting Women Rock Inc.

We'll be at the dock that morning with cards in hand, so come find us and say hi! Check-in starts at 10:30 AM, and prizes go to the top three hands.

The countdown is on for Texoma Throwdown 2026!

Grandpappy Point Resort & Marina is proud to be Official Fun Run Stop #4, and Mill Creek Resort & Marina is joining in as a Bonus Stop this year.

Didn't get a boat reserved for the weekend? No problem, this is one to watch. Hundreds of boats will be cruising through Grandpappy Point, and our dock sits right on the water where all the action happens. Grab a table at the restaurant, post up on the deck, or just walk the docks. It's the kind of weekend where watching is half the fun.

If you are heading out on the water Saturday, August 8th, You will see the boats up close and personal!

One heads up for our members and boaters: our gas dock will be busy all weekend with the extra traffic, so plan a little extra time if you're fueling up, and take it slow coming in and out. A packed dock just means more friendly faces to wave to.

Be ready to welcome hundreds of boats as they make their way around beautiful Lake Texoma! Whether you’re participating or just watching from the docks, or sitting at the restaurant, it’s going to be an unforgettable weekend!

You don't just get handed the keys and sent out onto the water.

Every Freedom Boat Club member trains directly with a licensed Coast Guard Captain, learning to dock, navigate, and handle the boat with someone experienced right beside them. And it's not a one-time thing. Training is unlimited for as long as you're a member, so you can always ask for another lesson or a refresher before a big trip.

It's how we turn first-timers into confident boaters, one lesson at a time.

Dear Santa, I know it is July. I also know it is 103 degrees in North Texas right now. A boat would fix both of those problems. Just saying.

P.S. A Freedom Boat Club Membership would be perfect! Any boat in the fleet will do. Pontoon, tritoon, bowrider, center console. I am not picky.
