Reminder - this Tuesday! Celebrate with Cape Sands Ballroom as we mark our 9th Anniversary at DCAL and our 12th year on Cape Cod! Join me on Tuesday, September 15th for a wonderful afternoon of dance, community, and celebration at the Dennis Center for Active Living (DCAL), located at 1045 MA-134 in South Dennis, MA. The festivities feature Ballroom Dancing from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM and Line Dancing from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Don't miss our official anniversary cake-cutting at 5:00 PM, followed shortly afterward by a brief, special demo by the Cape Sands Ballroom Line Dance Team! We will also have prizes and light refreshments to enjoy throughout the afternoon. Whether you love the elegance of Ballroom or the high energy of Line Dancing, there is something for everyone. Admission is a $10 walk-in fee per person, which covers one or both sessions, with cash or checks payable to the Dennis Senior Center. No registration is required—just show up ready to celebrate and have fun on the dance floor! (Note: No beginner 5:15-5:30 mini-session on the 15th due to the party schedule.) Questions? Have you marked your calendar for the next Ballroom, Latin and Swing Dance Party with Pre-Dance Lesson at Dennis Center for Active Living?! You'll find plenty of off-street parking, and a friendly crowd of singles and couples of all dance levels. Join Karen of Cape Sands Ballroom in the Theater Room at DCAL on Tuesday afternoon, September 1st at 1:00 for a beginner Nightclub Two-step lesson (no partner needed). Following the lesson, from 2:00 to 3:30 pm we'll have general dancing to fine recorded ballroom, Latin, swing and specialty tunes. Also featuring a mixer or two and a couple of line dances. Light refreshments. Door prize! Walk-in $10 per person cash or check payable to Dennis Senior Center. Please bring a change of shoes to protect the dance floor. Dress code dressy casual. Tuesday, August 18th - California Mix Social Dance Party in South Dennis! Looking for a fun summer afternoon activity on Cape Cod? Enjoy a fresh, contemporary dance-floor vibe blending social ballroom with a modern mix of music.

When: Tuesday, August 18, 1:00-3:00 PM.

Where: Dennis Center for Active Living, 1045 Route 134, South Dennis, MA 02660.

Music: Deejay Karen spins pop, blues, country, Latin, and contemporary hits. Dance West Coast Swing, Country Two-Step, Hustle, Nightclub Two-Step, East Coast Swing, Cha Cha, Salsa, a few line dances, and your requests.

Details: $10 per person at the door (Cash/check payable to Dennis Senior Center). Walk-ins only. No pre-registration, and you don't need to be a Dennis resident.

Singles, couples, social dance enthusiasts of all skill levels are welcome. Features an awesome floor designed for dancing, light refreshments, and a door prize.

Reminder .. tomorrow Tuesday, August 4th, daytime ballroom dancing in Dennis! Ballroom, Latin and Swing Dance Party with Pre-Dance Cha Cha Lesson at Dennis Center for Active Living with Karen of Cape Sands Ballroom. You'll find plenty of off-street parking, and a friendly crowd of singles and couples of all dance levels (no partner needed). Karen will start by teaching basics, and then depending on how much time is remaining, she may add an "extra credit" pattern for those who would like a little challenge. Following the lesson from 2:00 to 3:30 pm we'll have general dancing to fine recorded ballroom, Latin, swing and specialty tunes. Featuring a mixer or two and a couple of line dances. Light refreshments. Door prize! Walk-in $10 per person cash or check payable to Dennis Senior Center. Please bring a change of shoes to protect the dance floor. Dress code dressy casual.
