Denton Area Running Club

Denton Area Running Club Denton Area Running Club promotes running and running-related shenanigans. We host one of the largest social runs in the DFW area.

Find us every Wednesday at 7 pm for a 5k at Oak Street Drafthouse! The Denton Area Running Club's purpose is to promote the sports of road and trail running in the City of Denton and surrounding areas including but not limited to Corinth, Lake Dallas, Shady Shores, Hickory Creek, Argyle, Krum, Sanger, and Aubrey. Memberships (yearly):
Individual: $25
Youth (under 18): $15
Family: $35

Now that we're into September, the summer water stop is going away. Please watch the temps and hydrate/carry fluids as needed. Also, please remember to tip your bartenders!

September 23, we've partnered with Denton High XC to help fundraise! Oak Street will donate 15% of sales between 7 pm and 9 pm back to the team.

Oaktoberfest is almost upon us, and we're gonna roll out in style. Sunday, September 27, we'll hit a 5k starting at 10 AM from Oak Street Drafthouse. Run fast, and you can be first in line for the stein

The Downtown Denton Turkey Trot is officially on! Registration is open now, and we've got a DARC member discount code if you're interested. Prices will increase as we get closer, so register early for the best price.

Shoe donation box is up at Oak Street Drafthouse all month. Bring 'em up anytime!

We are just two weeks away from our FIRST fundraiser in partnership with the Denton High School XC Team and Oak St. Drafthouse

As Denton's running club, we love supporting our community, and this time we're proud to support the Denton Broncos XC Team! 💜

📅 Mark your calendars because this Social Run is going to be a special one. Bring your friends, family, and fellow runners and help us make a difference for these amazing student-athletes.

💜 Oak Street will generously donate 15% of all sales from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM to support the team.

💜 Can't stay after the run? No problem! We'll also have a QR code available for anyone who would like to donate directly to the Denton High School Cross Country Team.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this event far and wide. Every runner, supporter, and donation helps these incredible student-athletes continue to pursue their goals.

Don't forget about our Sunday morning runs from the More Fun side of the square. Roll out at 8 am for a 4-6 mile jaunt. As things cool off, we'll bring back a long run for marathon training season.

Six-O Trail Run is this Saturday! Chime in if you're racing, and we'll keep an eye out for you on the course.

Oak Street Drafthouse is celebrating the return of school with a few surprises for tonight. They'll have free popsicles and water balloons (outside the bar only), along with the run beer. Make sure to tip your bartenders!

Please be vigilant. If you see something like this happening, don’t leave your fellow runner to the wolves.
