Fishing isn’t your typical activity for a trip a to Dream Lake, but it can be worth it if you’re looking for a new experience! If they cast their luck right, Licensed fishermen and women will find greenback cutthroat trout at the end of their line. Bring your waders though, as this water stays very cold throughout the summer!

Despite the name, we promise that you're not dreaming..The magic of Rocky Mountain National park is perfectly captured at Dream Lake in the serene waters of the lake, and the looming tower of Hallet Peak in the distance. This crown jewel of Estes Park is a must-visit destination.

Don’t forget to bring your furry friend! Dogs are permitted in the maroon bells wilderness, as long as they are on a leash. Make sure to do your part in picking up after your dog and leaving no trace!

Dreaming about a trip to Aspen and the Maroon Bells this summer? Plan ahead and make sure you snag a reservation - they are required to reserve a spot on shuttle or obtain access the scenic area parking lots. The planning is worth it to see the spectacle of Maroon Peak and North Maroon Peak, which cap out at over 14,000ft above sea level!

Getting to the Maroon Bells takes a hop, skip, and a jump from Aspen (or a car, bus and a hike) but the adventure to experience the stunning peaks and clear waters of crystal lake make it easily justified.

Have you seen a shooting Star?💫 🌌 ✨ The Great Sand Dunes are one of the best places to stargaze in Colorado! The park was certified as an international dark sky park in 2019, meaning the community and stewards provide significant protection towards reducing light pollution and preserving our ability to observe the galaxy! You don’t need any special equipment either - just kick back and set your eyes to the sky!

While the average temperatures of Great Sand Dunes National Park range from 60-85 degrees, temperatures of the sand can reach up to 150 degrees! If you opt for the 2.5 mile trip to the high dune (which we totally recommend) make sure you bring a can cooler with you to keep your beers cold!

Great Sand Dunes National park is one of Colorado’s best hidden gems. Nestled on the westward side of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range, this national park has the tallest sand dunes in North America, and elevation of the park ranges from 7,500ft to 13,600ft above sea level!

The four seasons of fish creek falls! Although the most popular time of the year to visit is in summer, each season offers a unique perspective of the waterfall.
-Spring: Watch in awe! Observe the rushing snowmelt furiously project itself from the cliff side.
-Summer: Prepare to get your feet wet! At this point, the water has died down a bit, allowing any spry hiker to cross the stream, and climb the rocks to the base of the waterfall.
-Fall: Peep the leaves! By late September, the wide range of foliage will be changing along the hike, forming a colorful masterpiece.
-Winter: Waterfalls of ice and snow! Winter offers quite a different perspective, any remaining water flows have frozen up and down the rocks, or snow may have settled in, creating a silently calm atmosphere.
