Heart Rate Part 2
Estimate your heart rate max!
Swipe left to calculate your heart rate max, this number is important to know for determing heart rate target zones (coming in part 3 on Monday).
Training with a goal in mind (like heart rate zone) helps you target what your body uses as fuel (carbs or fat), provides variety in training to continue to progress, reduce the risk of overtraining, and helps your body recover.

I might ruffle some feathers with this one... BUT...
'Clean eating' is a myth.
Avoid falling into these marketing scams and fancy terms.
Instead focus on fueled eating, nutrient dense eating, satisfying eating, and eating whole foods.
There is so much Bull Sh*t out there these days around what 'healthy eating' looks like. Chances are if it looks fancy, complex, or restrictive- its BS.

Attack your goals with a habit based approach
One of the most common mistakes I see people make is doing too much too quickly, having an all or nothing mindset, and over complicating their goals.
My tips for you:
Take baby steps- less is more
Chose only ONE habit or focus at a time to avoid overwhelm
Stack a new habit onto an old one, you brush your teeth everyday (I hope), Perform 10 push ups before you brush your teeth
Be consistent for at least 30 days before adding more onto your plate
Keep it simple, most people struggle with the simple habits like daily basic movement and hydration- master the basics first!
