Monday diaries 19/52.
365. When something that’s been such a huge part of your identity— training, movement, coaching, competing…is suddenly taken away, you’re forced to slow down and face a version of yourself you’ve never met before.
And there were definitely hard days.
Days filled with tears during workouts. Days where progress felt painfully slow. Days I questioned if I’d ever run again or feel like myself again.
But somewhere through all of it, I realized the journey was teaching me far more than physical recovery ever could.
He put me on a path I would’ve never chosen on my own. A challenge that made me appreciate my body, my mind, and what I get to do every single day so much more.
This injury humbled me, stretched me, challenged my patience, and built a level of grit and resilience I didn’t know I had.
We still have a long way to go, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come. Running again at 4 months. My 1st Hyrox at 10. Little wins that once felt impossible.
So many people have been apart of this comeback story, and I truly couldn’t have don’t it without you.
Crazy to look back and see how far I’ve come. Even crazier knowing this is still just the beginning. 🚀🫶🏼

Monday Diaries 8/52.⚡️HYROX recap.⚡️
9 months post-op.
Achilles felt strong the entire race.
There will always be people who doubt you.
Sometimes quietly. Sometimes out loud.
But the only voice that really matters is your own.
You don’t have to convince them.
You just have to show up.
The goal wasn’t perfection. It was progress.
Now the focus shifts — improving ROM, dialing in ankle mobility, getting smoother and faster on the run.
You can do hard things.
Especially the ones that scare you a little.
Grateful to chase big goals with you — there’s something powerful about choosing hard together and coming out stronger than before. 🥹💪🏼
Already looking forward to the next one. 👀😜

Less than a year post-op Achilles… and we’re doing the damn thing.
Recovery wasn’t linear.
Training wasn’t perfect.
But the work got done.
The goal?
Finish. Compete. Empty the tank. ⛽️
Not chasing perfect splits.
Not chasing a podium.
Just chasing the version of me that refuses to sit it out.
Doing it with my PIC makes it even better. 🤍
You can let the setback define you…
or you can let it become part of your story.
