Today we found out Hunter Rivera, who lives in Windsor, faces four felony charges of soliciting a child pr******te, internet luring of a child, soliciting to arrange a minor pr******te in a cybercrime, and attempted sexual assault on a child.

Rivera was a chairman of the Colorado Weld County Republican Party.

First of all let me begin by saying I believe in the death penalty for anyone who harms or sexualizes children.

Colorado needs to bring back the death penalty. We need harsh punishments for sexual predators - no mercy.

Secondly, I must say how absolutely disgusting it is to see the comments and statements that are being made about others involved in the Weld County GOP accusing them of being complicit and knowledgeable about these heinous crimes.

Association Fallacy is a very serious matter and should not be tolerated.

I have never met this person, but I can tell you that plenty of ethical and moral people are involved in Weld County GOP and frankly some of the most wonderful people I know are in Weld County - and are also very disgusted and shocked by these findings.

One thing is certain - the people of Colorado LOVE to play the blame game and ‘holier than thou’ when in reality the ones crying ‘outrage’ are usually the ones most likely to be involved in dirty back door deals, political violence & conspiracy.

I teach situational awareness for a living. I study human behavior and I am very much a student of criminology - and true predators are brilliant at camouflage & hiding in plain sight. They do their best to present a mask of who they are to the world in order to avoid detection.

Human behavior wants to always default to the truth- the natural human inclination to passively accept incoming communication as honest unless specific red flags actively trigger suspicion.

I encourage everyone to take a step back and take the time to understand that it is highly damaging and inflammatory to make accusations and assumptions about others based on photos, political circles and community involvement.

This past year the Republican Party in Colorado has been hit by plenty of bad actors, violence, and deeply disturbed behavior.

It is time to clean house.

A woman shot and killed a man whom she had a protective order against after he broke into her home, according to the Gulfport Police Department in Mississippi. When the man broke in, two women were inside. Investigators said one of the women suffered a minor knife wound, but both managed to escape and barricaded themselves in another room of the home.
