San Luis Valley Rocketeers October launch photos!
Tomorrow morning we are headed to Alamosa for Saturday's San Luis Valley Rocketeers launch. This will be our first visit and we're really excited. Hope to see some old friends there and anxious to meet new friends. The store will be there with Loki Research motors, Onebadhawk kevlar harnesses, Altus Metrum electronics and much more. Looks like great weather so everyone traveling, have a safe trip.
Mile High Rocketry is going to Pueblo tomorrow to launch rockets and deliver some of the most reliable motors available, made by Loki Research. If you tired of destroying rockets due to catos from other manufacturers, give Loki Research motors a try. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Come on out and launch a few, talk rockets and pick up a free sticker. Hope to see everyone there.
The launch of my "Timex" rocket on a Loki K-527 at SCORE last Saturday was my first flight using an Altus Metrum product. I used the Telemetrum for dual deployment duties, TeleBT for telemetry and Altos Droid on my phone and "WOW", am I impressed. There is something very reassuring about a pleasant voice telling you what is happening during the entire flight as well as guiding you straight to the recovery site. Everything worked perfectly and the connection was rock solid all the way. I have been converted. If anyone has questions about Altus Metrum products, feel free to ask. We currently have all of the Altus Metrum electronic products in stock.
Had a great time launching with SCORE in Pueblo on Saturday. It was hot and at times, breezy, but many awesome flights and a few spectacular catos (none were Loki motors). I put my Timex rocket up on a Loki K-527 for the high flight of the day. The waiver was 8,000 feet and my baro altimeter reported 7,969 feet. A little too close for me. Spent with some old friends and new. What a wonderful day with a record crowd at a SCORE launch. There were also many interns from ULA certifying L1 so it was good to see that the rocketry hobby has a bright future.
Headed to Pueblo this Saturday to launch with the great folks at SCORE. Looking forward to seeing Jason and Jenn, Will, Brian, Jesse, Max, GB IV/V, Bdale, John and all the friendly peipl who regularly launch there. This is shaping up to be an epic day so come out and fly. I have plenty of awesome Loki motors, Altus Metrum electronics, Onebadhawk kevlar harnesses and many other rocketry items. Stop by, say Hi and pick up a FREE MHR sticker.
