💡✨ LIGHTS ON AFTERSCHOOL! ✨💡

Last night, our YMCA Afterschool programs celebrated Lights On Afterschool, a nationwide celebration that shines a light on the importance of quality afterschool programs!

Afterschool is SO much more than childcare! 💙

Yes, our programs provide a safe, supportive environment for children while their families work, but what happens during those hours is so much bigger.

🌟 Friendships are formed.
🌟 Confidence grows and new skills are developed.
🌟 Interests are discovered and creativity is encouraged.
🌟 Meaningful relationships are built with caring adults who believe in every child's potential.
🌟 Children find a place where they feel safe, valued, and like they truly belong.

Afterschool isn't just about where children spend their time. It's about who they become because of that time.

We are incredibly grateful for our dedicated YMCA staff who make these moments possible every day and for the families who trust us to be part of their children's lives.
