Big weekend on tap for our Alums!

We’ve got players competing in both the Men’s and Women’s NCAA Division 1, 2, and 3 Championship weekends and couldn’t be more proud of this group who’ve made it to the last possible weekend of college lacrosse in the season.

As well, a special shoutout to Ryder Garnsey, Max Waldbaum, and Joey Waldbaum who are coaching Notre Dame and Tufts, respectively! All 3 were incredible 3d players and continue to share their wealth of with the next generation.

Round 1 of NCAA D1 Tournament brought plenty of highlights! Here’s a few of our favorites from 3d Alums.

1. Jack Pappendick with a huge goal to help seal a gritty win on the road for Duke to advance
2. Gunnar Fellows was right place, right time for Army
3. Dylan Blekicki put away two big goals for Yale as they mounted a comeback in the dome
4. Thomas Porell scored his first career goal in a huge game for Notre Dame
5. Natty Mason went 1 and 1 in an electric game Georgetown to help them advance to the 2nd round
6. Jimmy McCool with ice in his veins helped fend off Yale with 17 saves including a game sealing flash that were used to seeing from the big lefty.
7. Jimmy Ayers scores the last two goals for the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays including the OT Game winner to knock of the defending champs

Proud would be an understatement. From all corners of the 3d Family, best of luck to all of our alums competing this weekend in the NCAA tournament from men’s to women’s and D1, 2, 3 keep crushing it!

Shoutout to Hunter Klosterman on an incredible college career at Lynn University!

From your time with us at 3d to competing at the next level, it’s been awesome watching your growth, work ethic, and impact on and off the field.

Hunter has been named to the All Conference team twice in his career as well as a handful of weekly awards. Starting out at Anderson University for 2 years where he racked up quite a few starts in his freshman and sophomore campaign, he took his talents south to Lynn and capped off a junior and senior year by compiling more starts, more saves, and more wins for the Fighting Knights. Nearly 600(!) saves in 55 games is flat out crazy.

Proud of you and everything you’ve accomplished, excited to see what’s next. Congratulations on an incredible career!

A consistent presence for George Mason, Kate has brought grit, determination, and a team-first mentality every time she steps on the field, making an impact in all phases of the game throughout her career.

Proud of you and everything you’ve accomplished, excited to see what’s next. Congratulations on an incredible career!

Shoutout to Kolin Brandeis on an incredible college career at Haverford College!

From your time with us at 3d to competing at the next level, it’s been awesome watching your growth, work ethic, and impact on and off the field.

An elite Captain and leader, Kolin has shown what hard work and care can do for a team. A multi-time conference Academic Honor Roll winner, he crushes it on the field and in the classroom at an elite institution. Only fitting that his career closed with a huge rivalry win, the first win for Haverford in the rivalry since 2018 and Kolin sealed the victory with a gritty GB off a wing to ensure the Black Squirrels came away victorious.

Proud of you and everything you’ve accomplished, excited to see what’s next. Congratulations on an incredible career!

Congratulations to Connor Morelli (Lassiter HS) on his recent commitment to Westminster College!

Morelli is our 94th commit in the 2027 class and we couldn’t be more excited for him and this ECAC opportunity. Connor is a one of one kind of kid, a true team player that cares more about his teammates success than his own. Better than Boobie Miles, he’ll do everything on the field including fill waters, if that’s what the team needs! You’ll find him camping the back pipe in a game for a dunk or working hard offball to facilitate for teammates. He also loves giving back to the game by coaching youth teams in the area and will surely be a great coach for 3d in the near future!

Congratulations to Connor and the entire Morelli family. Go Titans!

A multi time All-Conference selection and a Conference Tournament Team honoree, Lydia has been a difference-maker for ASU, bringing toughness, skill, and a relentless motor every time she steps on the field. Heading in the Big 12 playoffs this week, she lead the entire conference in goals this season as well as top 20 in the NCAA in points!
