Rocky Mountain Vintage Motocross Online Race Registration 06/02/2025

***RMVMC Race One Registration is Open - READ BELOW***

RMVMC races are now using the AMA Waivers and have a required field for a riders' AMA Number.

All previously registered racers for the cancelled April race are moved to the June 15 race. However, riders who registered prior will need to sign a new AMA waiver and have their AMA membership verified.

1) All riders, (especially Modern and Youth riders) MUST enter in their RMRA/AMA designated skill level. So, if for example, you race the B class in any other AMA sanctioned series you must register as a B class rider with RMVMC. If you register down a class, your AMA points will be forfeited, and the rider may be disqualified and suspended from all other AMA sanctioned events. If you register up a class, you will be moved to that class in all AMA sanctioned series.

IF ONLY racing in Vintage/GP(PV)/D(NG) classes in RMVMC and AHRMA events you can sign up for the skill level you raced in previously.

2) Youth (kids classes) MUST comply with the age ranges specified in the 2025 Supplemental Rules.

3) AMA Classes to RMVMC:
AMA "A" = RMVMC EXPERT,
AMA "B" = RMVMC INTERMEDIATE,
AMA "C" = RMVMC NOVICE

Great News!

RMVMC is now an AMA Charter Organization

After much effort by your RMVMC leadership we're excited to announce that we are now an official AMA Charter! RMVMC will now be nationally sanctioned and supported by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA). This partnership will strengthen our club's recognition, and through the AMA, will help us provide national-class events to our racers and club members.

What does this mean to you, an RMVMC Racer?

Eligibility to compete in AMA National events
Ability to earn district and national rankings
Liability protection at AMA Sanctioned events
..and all the numerous benefits of being an AMA member

What are the next steps?

While there are many details associated with racing in AMA Sanctioned events probably the first and foremost thing is to get on board as an AMA Member. Joining is easy - just click the ink below to get on board! This is a must-do next step.

We'll also be adjusting our Rules and Code of Conduct to be more in alignment with the AMA. You can grab a copy of the AMA Rulebook for Motocross link in comment section below this post.

There may be several other changes to the way we operate, such as, Tech Inspection, possible class changes, number plate requirements and a few other items to help us raise ourselves to a national level of racing.

Stand by for more details coming soon!

This is a huge step forward, and we truly appreciate your understanding and commitment as we grow together. Our goal is to keep vintage racing safe, fun, and sustainable for years to come.

05/04/2025

To all RMVMC racers, we know it has been a slow start to the season because of the April Lakeview race cancellation. RMVMC is organizing a fun group ride day at Jewell Motocross for May 10th. This will be an unofficial gathering of like minded Vintage racers. Come out, do some testing, tuning and socializing with other club members. The AHRMA race is coming up at the end of May, so why not get out and ride those Vintage bikes to shake the cobwebs out of them. Mark your calendars for May 10th and bring those Vintage bikes out for some fun riding and socializing. We hope to see everyone there.
