The #1 theme we've discussed with the Explore Community this month? . So we asked our trainers what gets them going + how they stay commited for the long haul. First up, let's check in with Coach .

Let's be honest... Coach Carl can seem like the most motivated man on the planet! As the trainer behind our Olympic Endurance classes, Carl is literally an expert in setting a long-term goal and sticking to it. “With the Olympic Games only heralded every four years in the media, Olympians don’t perform for financial gain or fame,” Carl explains. “Psychologically, these individuals are mental warriors—pure emotional stamina is their driving force.”

So...how exactly do you spark your own pure emotional stamina? Ironically, it can come from leaning into your setbacks. From ski jumping crashes to underperforming in an essential race, Coach Carl has seen his fair share of struggles: “Digging yourself out of a hole takes small steps that are well planned out. Executing one training victory at a time (until your confidence builds and your performance increases) is the key to getting yourself back to where you want to be.“ In other words, each of your choices can be a meaningful, incremental step forward. And if you find yourself sliding back, remember that tomorrow is a fresh chance to start again.

To our Explore clients, partners and supporters:

Thank you for trusting us—for more than a decade!—to help you reach new levels of physical fitness and holistic wellness. It has truly been our honor to train all of you and to make so many wonderful friendships along the way.

As some of you already know, we have amicably decided to go our separate ways as business partners—both continuing training with the same methods and philosophy, just under different names. You'll still find Carl at [email protected] and ExploreFitness.com, while Taylor has launched a new brand, Evergreen Performance. You can find him at: [email protected], EVGPerformance.com and on Instagram.

We look forward to continuing to see you all in the future—whether in the gym or the great outdoors! Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you have about this transition.

Explorer Peter demonstrating that age is just a number—but the number on the bar is worth noting: 10 reps at 140lbs! And that muscle isn't just for show. Peter regularly applies his gym strength to real life, whether keeping his property clean with chainsaw work and clearing brush, riding his bike, skiing or playing with his grandkids.

"Two's a party"and Explorers Jamie + Julie came to get down. A simple and sinister combo of KB swings, fan bike, single leg deadlifts and a KB carry revs up this pair's total body strength, power and heart-pumping conditioning. These two rock.

Explorer Mel is no stranger to a Tough Mudder, but he went big on this one: running, jumping, throwing, carrying, climbing and crawling through 25 obstacles over the 10km course. The most impressive part? Mel has been training with Coach Taylor remotely for almost a decade, and he never ceases to impress us with his motivation and commitment to lifelong fitness, no matter where life takes him.

That Colorado summer heat is no joke, so make sure to stay safe and hydrated as you play outside! Coach Taylor has been mixing up his workouts with early mornings on the trails and cooler evenings on the lake. How have you been staying active as the temperatures rise?
