Socal sent the best year and both the Blue Team (Lindy Zhou, Aarna Patel, Nicole Handjono, Matthew Xiatong Chen, Luca Rodriguez, and Eli Villaroman) and the Red Team (Danielle Han, Lucy Jiang, Lillian Chhiv, Alexander Pe, and Anthony Urtis) met in the final. Team Socal was coached in pool play by Adolph Huddleston and Josh Cossitt coached the Blue Team in the final against Las Vegas Legend Bill Derango with The Blue Team pulling an 8-1 win. Special Thanks to Co-Director Adele Bowron Sobieski for running the desk Sunday. I’m grateful to Coach Adolph, Jake Lysgaard Tennis, Erin, Samantha Colandone and Coach Billy D for taking a weekend to make event one of the best. Sam Coached Team PNW, Jake Coached Team Usta Intermountain and Erin Coached Team NorCal. Thank you to my great officiating team, Val, Will, Ed and Pam. Huge Thank you to Rachel High Strung Coffee Co. and Nick and Jeff for the great hospitality Darling Tennis Center Center. The Temp was in the 100’s but the kids and parents didn’t let it affect their effort and sportsmanship. Same time next year, let’s do it again!

Congratulations to all Intermountain teams that won their respective divisions of the 2026 Adult 18 & Over League Sectional Championships held in Salt Lake City, Aug. 7-9, 2026. All teams now qualify to advance to their respective National Championships in Mobile (AL), Surprise (AZ), or Orlando (FL) in October. Great job everyone!!
