Weekends are all about reflection for us and as much as we love to multi task we’ve both been spinning a lot of plates lately 😅 so TAM is taking some time off socials to have a well needed break and reset. 🙏🏽

Sweet Potato Fritters 🍠
A super easy breakfast/brunch/early lunch!

This one is one of the simplest recipes to make and we find it perfect to make at the end of the week when you have that last sweet potato in the bag that you don’t know what to do with!

Recipe:
Simply grate one sweet potato, add an egg and a couple tablespoons of flour. Mix and season! Make into small patties and shallow fry until soft and crispy on the outside ✨
Serve with a poached egg for some extra protein 😋

The days being lighter means by the time I get home from the track it’s still light enough to go and grab lunch or even a nice early dinner. After being mugged in 2020 I really don’t like going out in the dark on my own🙈!!

Now that I have left London I’m really looking forward to exploring Leicester and Nottingham which are both really close to my new base, Loughborough.

This is one of the places I think I’m going to try first .kai 👀😍

Well needed escape to the mountains 🏔🇦🇩

Andorra was never somewhere I had on my radar but I’m glad I got to experience!

To reach Andorra you have to fly to Barcelona or Toulouse and drive 2.5 hrs across the boarder. I stayed at a lovely mountain resort and enjoyed local skiing, apres ski and a few reggaeton and Latino bars!

Andorra normally has 360 days of sunshine and I happened to pick the weekend of no sun 😅 but it was still a great escape 🙌🏽

It’s Spring!
Today is the first OFFICIAL day of spring and we are so excited!!!
(Spring- 20th March - 21st June)

Spring means brighter mornings , lighter evenings, less winter wardrobe and more outdoor gatherings …. Maybe even some bootcamps. 👀

So on this Sunday , we urge you to reset, recharge and rethink. Let’s make some new plans and goals for the season of Spring !🧡

Turned on the Tv to see this amazing woman as the anchor on the BBC for the World Indoor Champions that are taking place this weekend in Belgrade Serbia! 🇬🇧🇷🇸

As well as being my idol in my late teens, I was lucky enough to train with and witness first hand what an amazing athlete she was and when I say she had a savage mind set, I mean it !!!

So It blows my mind that people only know Jen’ as the lady who Interviews athletes post race, without realising she has her own accolades. In fact she has a silver medal from this very championships which she won back in 2008 and a 6th palce finish in the 100 meters at the Beijing Olympics later that year.

After retiring Jen’ went back and studied to perfect her craft to become a journalist and has worked tirelessly to get where she is today but knowing her how I do, I’m not surprised , just extremely proud !!!

Jeanette Kwayke you’re an inspiration on and off the track …💖💖💖
