We want to honor these players for the awards they received this season and celebrate everything they brought to this team!

While having such a close loss is tough, finishing 4th at state is still something to be proud of. This group showed resilience all season through injuries, position changes, and adversity, always continuing to fight for each other.

We are so proud of every player on this team, including those who couldn’t suit up and play. Thank you all for an unforgettable season!

Tomorrow we take on Grealor in our final match of the season for 3rd place. This season hasn’t been easy, battling injuries, short numbers, and players stepping up to play huge minutes week after week but this team has never stopped fighting for each other.

No matter the outcome, we are incredibly proud of the resilience, heart, and growth this group has shown all season long. Let’s finish strong together. ❤️🖤

✨Senior Spotlight✨ Meryl Welsh

Although Meryl just joined the team this season, she quickly became such a consistent and dependable lock for us. Quiet but hardworking, she’s learned so much throughout the year and continued to improve every single game.

Her dedication, willingness to grow, and positive impact on the team have not gone unnoticed, and we’re so proud of how far she’s come in such a short time. We hope this is only the beginning of her rugby journey and would love to see her continue playing after college!

✨Senior Spotlight✨Ava Armstrong

For the last 4 years, Ava has been a foundation of this program, leading with heart, determination, and consistency every step of the way. She’s set the tone for this team through her leadership, physicality, speed, and commitment to always giving her best.

We’re incredibly proud to announce that Ava has signed with Grand Canyon University to continue her rugby career next year! While we’ll miss having her on the field this weekend due to injury, her impact on this team goes far beyond one game. Players of the Match go to these two who continue to be key pieces of this team. Sophie has stepped in at scrum half the past two matches and has been nailing her kicks, tackles and jackals. Sophia has set the tone with her leadership, big tackles, and powerful line breaks. Huge performances from both!
