I get to the studio, ready to shoot... and the model has apparently cast herself as a no-show. 🫠

When you’re producing and working with people, how much do you expect—and how much do you leave room for? I can make room for life happening. But communication? I still expect that.

There came a point when moving forward required a different version of me. Looking back, I’m grateful for who I began to become.

I had to acknowledge what was real, feel what I felt, and give myself permission to move beyond what no longer served me. My emotions deserved room—but so did my future.

That’s part of what’s shaping The Colorado Woman The Colorado Woman | Original Series the series we’re developing at Rocky Mountain TV: women navigating transition and what becomes possible when they have space to hear themselves again.

Space to be present. Space to imagine. Space to meet who they’re becoming.

I started a TV company in 2020. Now what? Apparently, we’re finding out together.

In this episode of Amber in Production, I share how Rocky Mountain TV began, why I’m leaning into my role as a producer, and the stories behind some of our shows in development, including The Colorado Woman and The Aviation Life.

We’re also addressing the elephant in the room: this channel is changing. After sharing so much about surviving a difficult chapter, I’m taking you behind the scenes of what I’m building next. I open up a little about navigating divorce, changing direction, and pursuing ideas before I have every detail figured out.

Expect a few stories, a little uncertainty, and some laughs along the way. I have a vision. The instruction manual appears to be missing.

Looking back, the dots are starting to connect.

The pageants. The events. The interviews. Creating 719 Style and continuing to tell the stories of artists, designers, and creatives.

Producing has been the through line all along.

I love taking an idea, gathering the pieces, and shaping them into a story someone can feel. That’s the part I’ve always come alive doing.

My life has been a journey of evolution, and I expect it always will be. But I’m finally giving myself permission to lean fully into something I’ve wanted for a long time: creating original shows through Rocky Mountain TV.

719 Style continues to be my home for artistic, editorial storytelling. Rocky Mountain TV gives me room to explore unscripted docuseries, entertaining shows, and comedy. Because yes, I have things to say, and some of them are funny on purpose.

It all connects to my love of presentation. I’ve always said presentation is “contained presence.” A show gives that presence somewhere to live—a way to be seen, heard, and experienced.

And this time, I’m letting you see the woman making it.
