Bicycle Colorado's Education Team appreciates the work of Safer Streets Littleton, a program dedicated to making the city's streets safer and more accessible for all users, with a particular focus on pedestrians and bicyclists. Through real-world testing, community input, and a focus on building a culture of safety, Littleton, CO – Government is creating a more walkable, bike-friendly community.

We've had the privilege of partnering with the city to activate the newly constructed practice park at the East Community Center.

The City of Thornton is a supporter and member of Bicycle Colorado. In 2024, Thornton adopted a Vision Zero Action Plan to combat an upward trend in bicycle-involved crashes. In addition to reducing bicycle-involved crashes, the Plan looks to reduce pedestrian-involved crashes and reduce crashes of all types that result in death or serious injury.
