Hard to explain Psychedelia to someone who hasn’t been. Fortunately, we have footage.

The OG blacklight bouldering comp returns to The Spot Boulder with boulders for all skill levels, a live DJ, catered food, and prizes. It’s a comp, but you’re allowed to be here mostly for the party.

Okay, it’s officially time to start planning your Psychedelia costume.

On October 24, the lights go out at The Spot Boulder and the whole gym gets taken over by blacklight boulders, glowing tape art, and whatever neon desert creatures you all decide to dress up as.

There are youth and adult comps, plus spectator tickets for anyone who wants to watch the climbing, enter the raffle, catch the DJ and circus performance, and hang out with food and drinks.

This year’s theme is Wild West Glowdown. Think neon cacti, desert ghosts, jackalopes, UFOs, rattlesnakes —just make sure it glows.

Competitor and spectator tickets are up at the link in bio. Prices go up October 19, so grab and start figuring out how to make a tumbleweed fluorescent 🔴
