Let that sink in for a moment about osteoporosis. For women, the incidence of breaking a bone is greater than that of heart attack, stroke, and breast cancer COMBINED.
Yet osteoporosis has been such an overlooked topic in women’s health. No widespread screening campaigns, pink ribbons, or big tv coverage that stop you in your tracks. Just a quiet epidemic that millions of women are navigating largely alone.
This is exactly why we talk about bone health so loudly and so often at Buff Bones®. Your health demands it.
Bone loss is natural but excessive not loss is not. It is never too late to start protecting and cultivating the bones you have. Get professional guidance and make a plan that’s unique to you and YOUR bones.
Share this post with every woman in your life to raise awareness for National Osteoporosis Awareness and Prevention Month.

Keep doing those crosswords ✏️ But remember: your brain thrives when you do a range of different cognitively-engaging activities that you truly enjoy. Variety builds cognitive reserve. Repetition just builds skill at one task. So, mix it up! 🧠

Your hydration habits actually matter.
Research confirms that once your body loses just 2% of its water weight through sweat, you start to feel it. Fatigue sets in, your muscles work harder, and your core temperature is tougher to regulate. During summer, that threshold can creep up faster than you'd expect.
Three things that help...
Before class: Drink 16–20 oz of water in the hour leading up. Don't wait until you're thirsty.
During: Sip consistently rather than all at once.
After: Add some electrolytes to your recovery. Plain water alone doesn't always replace what you lost.
Show up hydrated and you'll feel the difference!

Summer adventures can take a toll on your body. If you're feeling stiff, sore, or dealing with lingering aches, Andrew will be back at the studio offering Myofascial Release (MFR) appointments from June 26–29.
Andrew travels from Colorado’s Western Slope each month to provide this specialized hands-on therapy, which uses gentle, sustained pressure to help rehydrate tissue, release restrictions, reduce pain, and improve movement and comfort in everyday life.
Appointments are limited and tend to fill quickly.
