“You should go to bed,” my Mom says in a text after telling her I’m home.

It’s been an extremely mental and physical last few days. Her advice is the love a mom always has watching out for her babies.

I think to myself,

Yah, sounds so good.

AND… that fireplace is calling me.

< I chose to make some tea
and turn on the fire. ☺️>

I sat in the dark with just the fire flames dancing for light.

I curled up on my leather sofa, sitting in the middle with my feet propped up on a coffee table and blanket.

I giggled, “This is nice.”
(The stager set it up this way.)

My cats finding comfort in their familiar surroundings-
on their beds and in my lap as they’ve had to be gone all day too.

Yes, it was “time” for bed.
But it also was time to relax.

Cuddling our warm bodies together for some attention and love.

Unthinking and just enjoying the pleasures of this cozy home.

It’s changing.

It has already changed.

The familiar shifting into the new.

Simply enjoying the dancing of the flames
against the dark, dark background.

It’s never felt so good. 😉

I love it that I can literally honor my desires at any moment.

Today I got the desire to have a bath enroute home.

I said yes.

And I also chose to have it ready for me when I got home.

I texted my honey and told him I’d love for him to prepare a bath for me.

I’m home alone now. And sent him this pic and said,
“thank you”.

He wrote back,
“Ah my sweetness...enjoy your day .”
