Moved the last of the items on 38th Avenue out of the building!! Although it's sad to have to leave, I'm grateful for all the volunteers that came to help us!!
When doors close, God always opens up another!!

We have spent 16 months establishing ourselves in Denver, and it is with pride that we reflect on our time in this building.
However, the moment has come for us to bid farewell and pursue new endeavors.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported us on this journey.

We wish to express our deepest appreciation to the volunteers who helped us repair more than 50 bicycles in roughly 3.5 hours yesterday.

It was an outstanding event. We are grateful to the City of Broomfield and all staff and volunteers for facilitating our community service initiative.

We would also like to thank the C.A.R.S. crew for their assistance in transporting volunteers for loading, setup, and other activities.

We extend our gratitude to Matthew and all attendees of the church launch party held at 1720 S. Alcott St in Denver yesterday, which provided an excellent opportunity for families to acquire bicycles from our shop.

It was a pleasure to deliver 30 bicycles to Dalton Elementary School in Aurora yesterday. We extend our gratitude to the staff and students for assisting us in unloading our trucks!
A special thank you to our volunteers who prepared the bicycles and assisted with transportation.

We were proud to present Second Chance Bicycle Shop with a $6,200 donation for Q4 2025. Travis Woudstra, Bob Shaheen (sponsor), and I met with Director Betty Clark today to deliver the funds.

In addition to the financial donation, our members graciously contributed 13 gently used bicycles. These will be repaired and given to families in need throughout the Denver community. We would like to extend a special thank-you to member Mel Fry for providing the trailer used to deliver the bikes.

Second Chance Bicycle Shop empowers individuals by providing repurposed, sustainable bicycles that improve access to education, healthcare, economic opportunities, and recreation.

Thank you to our amazing 100+ Men Who Care Denver members for your continued generosity. If you would like to join our growing group, our next meeting will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Alpha Charlie's Tap & Tavern. The event begins at 7:00 PM.
